Seventh grader Kit loves baseball more than anything else in the world. Well, except maybe Todd. He loves baseball, too, and has a smile that turns her into a babbling food. But Todd is an eighth grader. Wrose, he thinks of Kit as ‘just one of the guys.’ Ouch!

When a mysterious woman gives Kit a stone with equally mysterious powers, Kit thinks all her secret wishes will come trued.

And they do.

Unfortunately, the stone puts it’s own unpredictable twist on Kit’s wishes, and she’s left to deal with the not-so-great consequences.

Petdemonium 2: The Forgotten

Aliens disguised as pets invaded Earth and turned all adults into their pet-gush servants. But Brenna and a team of kids found the aliens’ weakness and defeated them.

Now her world is safe.

Except it isn’t.

Because Brenna sees them again. The aliens! But they aren’t ‘back.’ Some never left. Could they be plotting to take over the world again? Or do the actually ‘mean no harm’ as they claim. Either way, Brenna needs help. Now! Before it’s too late.

But the adults call the invasion “The Forgotten Week”, explaining away the memory loss and werdness with sciency lies. Even Brenna’s parents don’t believe her and look at their daughter with worried frowns and poor-baby eyes.

And the kids are either all hero-worshipy toward Brenna or avoid her like she’s a mega weird disease.

And a top-secret agency devoted to ‘negating’ the aliens is creepy-stalking her.

Only Baxter believes her. Best friends are like that. Now it’s just Baxter and Brenna against the rest of ‘therm.’ Again. Trying to protect the world. Again. So unfair.
